ALASKA -- Not that Motor City Josh and the
Big 3 ever set out to "blow anybody off the stage,"
it's just that the Detroit band's high-energy performances
have a way of overshadowing other acts. So fans can expect
musical fireworks again this year at the Cowpie Blues Festival,
when Motor City Josh makes his third straight appearance
on the Shagbark Farm stage "out in the middle of nowhere"
at 8:40 p.m. Saturday.
"I've had a good time these past two
years," Motor City Josh, aka Josh Ford, said of his
Cowpie shows. "We've been in an interesting time slot,
just before the headliner goes on. ... I love that spot.
"We're really into the music and we include the crowd.
It's very high-energy, very fun, in your face -- a very
entertaining show. People get the vibe. ... I don't ever
try to blow anybody off the stage. I just do my job." |
